Lake Time

Last weekend we purchased a new boat. Logan has been so thrilled about taking it out on the water. We tried on Thursday night, but as we were going down our road Logan started vomitting. Instead of heading to the lake, we visited the ER. What a great trade off, huh? That's a different story in itself. This past Sunday we finally were able to take our first trip to the lake. Logan had a blast. He threw a huge fit when we loaded the boat on the trailer. This kid LOVES the lake and tubing. There is nothing like cruising around on the lake. That was the much needed therapy we needed as a family to heal. What a great time we had!

4th of July 09

This year we celebrated the 4th of July with some great friends, food, drinks, fireworks and of course water for the kids. We all had a great time. Logan LOVED the fireworks and kept asking for more!

Swimming Lessons

Logan just finished with his first swimming lessons. Prior to swimming lessons Logan would scream when water went in his ears or water was on his face, now he is getting more use to the feel each day. He learned some basic skills. Now it is time to learn how to swim.

New Bed

Well, we finally bought Logan a new bed. He now has a big, big boy bed. The little man is so excited about his new bed. It is hard to believe that he is 3 1/2 years old and ready for a bed this size. Where does the time go?

Cast

Yes, the day has finally arrived. We now have a broken bone in our record. Back on May 7th Logan hurt his foot and ankle on the tramopoline. After an Urgent Care visit we headed to the Orthopedist. Logan had a mid-ankle sprain and fracture in his foot. Here we are 3 weeks after getting the cast on and finally that smelly thing is off. Of course there is more problems, but what is ever easy when it comes to Logan? Nothing.... The next couple of months will be a waiting game, like always, but we are going to enjoy our summer and baths again!!

Update

Logan recently went to see an Endocronologist regarding the VERY to little growth that had taken place during the past 10 months. Blood work came back fine, but the bone x-ray showed that his bone age is 2 years 8 months. That is almost a full year behind his actual age. During the past about 2 months Logan has also been complaining of a headache 3-4 times a week in a localized spot on his forhead. Once we discussed the headaches and their location along with his bone age the doctor decided that it would be best to have an MRI performed. We are looking to see if he has a tumor on his pituitary gland. May 18th we are scheduled for the MRI and results should be back within that week (I hope).
