First t-ball practice

Logan had his first t-ball practice Monday night. All afternoon he was asking when we were going to t-ball practice. The entire hour was quite humorous. He was the first one to pick flowers and was easily sidetracked by all the cars driving by. There is lots of practicing that needs to take place, but he loves the game so far. I think he is even more excited that Carson is on his team. You will see in the pictures that he has many facial expressions as he plays. This Saturday is our first game, so we will see how this goes. Keep your fingers crossed!

Brochoscopy

Well....the dreaded day is finally over. Today Logan had the much anticipated brochoscopy. I know you are probably wondering what in the world this is. Logan's pulmonologist went down into his lungs to check out the anatomy and takes some samples of the cilia hairs. The preliminary results showed that the cilia hairs were active, which is a good sign that he does not have primary ciliary dyskinesia. We will know definitely in about a week when the lab results return. There is still a chance that Logan has bronchiectasis (another lung dysfunction), but we are going to just watch and see if any more signs present themselves. At this time they are treating him as an odd case with chronic sinus infections and severe asthma. Logan is actually doing really well this afternoon. He is playing and enjoying being at home. Thanks to you all that have kept us in your thoughts and prayers.

Here are some pictures from today. Logan had a wonderful nurse, as you will see in the pictures. The biggest problem was the wrist i.d. bands. They have always been an issue that we have faced.
